Purity Brush
Description
Inspired by the Japanese phrase Yūgen, this brush is a limited edition release celebrating Japanese brush making and centuries old traditions that have kept this process pure, throughout the generations. The name “Purity” given to this brush is symbolic of its make (100% pure natural hair) as well as appreciating a deeper sense of the beauty of the world around us.
Each and every single brush is painstakingly hand crafted with over 100 steps from start to finish, by some of the most experienced and best artisans in the area.
The handle, uniquely designed by us, is shaped and made of Japanese cherry wood then coated with 8 layers of a custom blend of pearl lacquer with stunning red reflects. This is then topped with a final layer of high shine lacquer to preserve and seal the gorgeous colour.
The brush head is firmly secured by a gold-plated matte brass ferrule to ensure that there is minimal hair fall out upon application.
The lushly soft and beautiful brush head, made of 100% natural Saibikoho - Saikoho softness grade hair, is expertly shaped by master artisans. From selecting and refining the brush hairs to making sure all hairs are correctly placed, the brush artisan spends hours and hours perfecting the end product.

Care Instructions
To clean, simply occasionally wash your brush with some gentle soap cleanser or brush cleaner and always dry with the brush guard to help the brush keep its shape. Do not use rough circular motions to scrub the brush hairs whilst cleaning and do not blowdry brush hairs. Hang brush with brush hairs pointing towards the ground to dry. Alternatively, you can dry it lying horizontally on a flat surface. Please do not dry with brush hairs pointing up as this will cause the glue joining brush hairs, ferrule and handle to loosen over time.
Please note that as with all natural hair brushes, it is normal for some hair fallout to occur during the first few uses, this should decrease and eventually stop after a few washes. The shape of the brush may also change after bring used and washed, due to spreading of brush hairs with pressure during use. To maintain the closest shape to when first received please follow the care guidelines above.
